Guests should be aware that the University Place Community Park is accessed before you reach the gated community of University Place. Although the facilities described on this page are not maintained and managed by the University Place Community but by Manatee County Parks and Recreation, these facilities can still be used as you are a visitor / guest of the University Place Community. The Pavilion has a covered area with seating where guests can enjoy a quiet rest whilst watching their children play in the area or even watching the family enjoy a game of tennis.

Although a larger children's play area than the one situated inside the gated community area, our younger guests will find all they need here to keep them amused. Guests should supervise their children whilst playing in any children's area, as there is a car park in the vicinity.

Lighted tennis courts are available for guests to use during their stay. These courts can be found just outside the gated community area. Guests do not have to book to use these facilities. However, use of these facilities is on a first come basis.

There are large open fields for baseball and other recreational activities in the recreational area at University Place Park. We will hopefully be adding some pictures in the near future.
